about the artist

"My inspiration comes from the beauty and daily discoveries of living on an island. I consider myself a beachcomber. A concept for a design often emerges after collecting fragments that have washed up on a favorite beach or exploring and photographing the tropical landscape. I am drawn to organic patterns and textures found in nature and the sea and natural fibers.Living simply and creating beauty is my essence and what I want to share with others." 

Gina Feddersen lives with her husband & son in the home she calls "La Dolce Vita" on the island of St. Thomas.
